The first step of our journey began with a calisthenics wall calendar - a passion project that kicked everything off. But it was more than just a product. It was about giving more visibility to a then-underground sport, inspiring people, and building a community that motivates each other.
Shortly after, we launched our first signature shirt with the slogan “Never Give Up – Only Pull Up!” Even during the creation process, well-known athletes were involved, bringing their passion and experience to the table and helping spread the message.
To this day, this slogan represents everything GORNATION stands for: discipline, motivation, and community. It's more than just a print on our shirts - it's part of our DNA. A daily reminder to never give up and to always level up.

In 2017, we took the next big step - for the first time, we presented GORNATION at FIBO in Cologne, the biggest fitness expo in Europe. For us, this wasn’t just a trade show appearance. It was a milestone that allowed us to connect directly with the calisthenics community.
Meeting athletes, street workout fans, and potential partners in person gave us a huge boost. The honest feedback and excitement from visitors confirmed that we were on the right path - building a brand that truly supports the sport.
Over the following years, we added more events, collaborations, and sponsorships. With every step, GORNATION grew - and so did our community. More and more people started to believe in our vision, and that’s what still drives us every day.

In 2019, we moved into a new office. Demand for our products was rising, and our team was growing fast. This move marked the shift from a small startup to a professionally structured brand with a clear vision.
But it wasn’t just the team and community that kept growing - our warehouse quickly reached its limits. So in 2025, we expanded again. With a bigger space, improved infrastructure, and more automation, we can now ship faster, more efficiently, and more reliably - both locally and globally.

One thing we’re especially proud of is the team behind GORNATION. What started as a small, tight-knit group around our founder Philipp has grown into a team of around 20 people – not just working for the brand, but truly living the sport and the lifestyle. From e-commerce to product development, marketing to customer support – our team members are active athletes who understand and love calisthenics. That passion flows into every product, every idea, and every decision. And our shared goal is crystal clear: to push the sport forward and empower the global community.
